EV Chargepoint Grant for Renters or Flat Owners

The Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV) Chargepoint Grant allows homeowners who live in flats and people who are renting accommodations to claim either £350 or 75%, whichever amount is lower, off the cost of an EV charging point and its installation.

There are certain criteria that you must meet to qualify for the OZEV Chargepoint Grant and you can only claim one Chargepoint per vehicle and household.

What to expect:

Only an OZEV-approved Chargepoint installer, like ourselves, can complete your installation and you also must meet a number of requirements such as having dedicated off-street parking.

Since we are familiar with the process of applying it’s best to contact us so that:

  1. We can check that your vehicle is on the list of electric vehicles approved by OZEC. *
  2. The Chargepoint you are planning to install is on the list of OZEV approved Chargepoint models (all the ones we install are!)

START YOUR APPLICATION

Just a few points. We are required to complete the work within 90-days of your application being approved.

When we have finished the installation, we will claim the grant on your behalf. Our invoice will show the total installation cost minus the grant amount. We’ll give details of your Chargepoint to OZEV.

LOOK AT THE POTENTIAL SAVINGS

Charging an EV at home, especially during off-peak hours, is often cheaper than using public charging stations. Over time, these savings can offset the installation price​.
